• how to remove drawer?

  • Hi, it's easy, slip the drawer all the way and lift it

• My machine has been locked by mistake and I can’t open it

    • The display says "end" and is remaining locked. Tried holding down start but just keeps beeping. How can I unlock it?

• I cannot work out how I can operate the Spin only programme. I hade put washing on the darl wash programme and the washing was left too wet to dry.

    • Set to rinse/spin (22 mins) then turn off aquaplus on digital display. Time will drop to 13 mins

• I'd like to know if there's a pre-wash option with this model. The manual is not specific and refers to the (absent) Supplementary sheet to the operating instructions...

  • As far as I am aware, the BOSCH WAN28201GB Series 4 does not come with a Prewash option.
    If one is available, it will be named on the programme dial setting as shown here.

    The supplied manual can be a bit vague to say the least, as it covers multiple model variations.

• The manual is almost useless. An 8 year old could have written better instructions.

  • Could you advise how to continue a program when accidentally stopped. My children tend to turn the program buttons to another program when the machine is washing and soap/water is still in the machine. (Half-way)
    Is there a way to get the machine continue the program, rather than restarting?

    • Unfortunately, if you change the program to another, you can't go back to the middle of the previous one. Use Child Lock, then the buttons will not respond.

  • I agree with Maren. Sometimes my machine seems to have a mind of its own. Oh to have a decent manual.

  • You’re quite right about instructions they don’t tell you enough clearly we had to go on You Tube to be able to work things out

• My machine is flashing E18. I can't find my manual.

  • HI, fault E18 means:

    Drainage hose blocked or kinked

    Solution

    "Clean filters in the water supply hose. Attention: The leaking water may be very hot (risk of scalding). Set programme selector to . Pull out the mains plug. Check whether the drainage hose has been installed without kinks. Loosen hose clip on the siphon, carefully remove drainage hose (residual water). Clean drainage hose and siphon spigot. Hold drainage hose in a bucket and select the programme. Connect drainage hose to the siphon and check for leaks."

• Does not use softener from middle draw or dumps in at beginning of wash. Tried on cotton and mixed load settings. Please help

  • My new machine does not dispense fabric softener either

• If installing at home, do you have to take any packaging out of the machine?

  • Yes, remove all packaging from the machine before first use. Also remove the transport bolts.

• Series 4 Varioperfect: How do I get the lid off the top of the Machine ?
  (qualified electrical/electronics tech.)

• What are the total depth sizes including door.
  The space in the kitchen allows maximal 59 mm otherwise we would not be able to close the doors.
