    1. Hi, it is child lock. You can read detials about lock on page number 5 in PDF manual:

after the start/end of the programme, press and hold

      1. after the start/end of the programme, press and hold Start/Reload for approx.
        5 seconds.
Note: The childlock can remain activated until you wish to start the next programme, even after
        switching off the machine.
Then you can deactivate the childlock before starting the programme and activate it again as
necessary once the programme has started.

  1. Hi,
Our machine leaves too much detergent at the end, resulting in the need to carryout further rinses, even though it is on a low detergent level. It only rinses 2 times throughout the cycle.

  2. After 12 months use The latex/rubber main opening seal has surprisingly gone black with a sooty mould. Is this a manufacturing issue or does anyone know how to repair.

  3. How does the separate rinse/spin cycle programme work? Even though I set the spun cycle to the highest setting, the clothes still end up sopping wet?

  4. My machine would not drain it showed F15 now it shows F35 what does this mean and what can I do to fix it.
    Thanks David

  5. My wash has finished and the door release sounds like it’s clicked but the handle won’t release the door, what can I do?

    1. Fault E80 is a general code relating to the recirculation pump. Either the pump or wiring has failed, or the computer thinks it isn’t there.

    1. Hi fault F23 means: Anti flood device has been activated.
Water got into the tub washing machines, for example, too much foam during washing.
Unplug the power supply, unscrew the back cover and dry the water at the bottom of the machine.

  6. What do the symbols on the detergent tray mean? I am trying figure out how to add soap, softener and bleach to my clothes and during which cycle but the manual does not cover it for the Logixx 8.

  7. I can not open the door. Have tried everything. There is a symbol showing to the left of the child lock that has not been on before. Note sure what it is

    1. I cant open the door eighter:-( what can i do? I have empatien the maskinen for water from the lid, i have tried to Take out the Contact, the program is finished but the door wont open.

      1. I found instructions in discussion:

Here is the procedure to manually unlock most Bosch washers.

Remove the access cover to the drain pump located at the bottom of the front panel to use the door lock manual release .

I found instructions in discussion: Insert a pointed object (or tool) into the hole and push in to release the latch and rotate the cover clockwise.

Door lock manual release cable is held to the right side of the drain pump by a clip. Simply pull on the cable to release the door.

  8. Hi, I need help washing machine door will not open, no child lock on and have tried giving it a thump ? What do I do ?

  9. As many others before me; the door does not open. No child lock on.
Can you put a link to an instruction film on YouTube or whatever to show how to open via the emergency route, please?
What tool is to be used and where? To pull the red cord down? Hard or soft? I don’t want to break anything.

    1. Hi Pauline, under the text of Article I put a video from YouTube with instructions: How to open a washing machine door that won’t open normally. I hope this helps.
